On Behalf of the Bay Area Magic Youth Traveling Basketball Club, we would like to thank you for taking time from your busy schedules to consider our request for a donation or sponsorship of our girls and/or boys AAU basketball program.
Bay Area Magic is beginning another successful year of operation, teaching and training girls and boys in a college environment to prepare them for the next level. We have assembled some of the finest players in Northern California; these are talented young men and women, both academically and athletically. We are proud to have expanded from (1) team in 1997 to (10) teams currently: GIRLS - 17U, 15U, 14U, 13U, 11U, 10U and BOYS - 16U, 14U, 11U, 10U. But as we have expanded, so has the cost to participate and attend these required events.
We provide our players with educational resources and support, as well as tutors and mentors. This makes them more competitive and marketable for scholarship opportunities. Scholarship opportunities are gained through exposure to college coaches and recruiters and we accomplish this by competing in high profile tournaments located in cities throughout the U.S.
As a non-profit youth organization we rely on support from dedicated companies and people such as you. We appreciate any type of contribution to our program either monetary, or goods and services. Funds are used to pay for equipment, practice facilities, tournament fees and traveling and lodging expenses. All funds raised go directly to our program as our coaches, managers, and mentors are non-paid dedicated volunteers.
